"Youth: Education and Career"

On April 16 in the Palace of Children’s Art the specialized exhibition “Youth: Education and Career” will open its doors. This exhibition is included in the agenda of the Government of the Republic of Karelia for the high professional level of its organization and its special significance for the region’s economy.

The main task of the exhibition is to provide school leavers, parents, teachers and students of institutions of professional education with qualified information about professional education of different levels in the Republic of Karelia as well in other regions and about following employment in the organizations of the Republic of Karelia. Representatives of all the institutions will be glad to answer any questions concerning entering these institutions and the list of qualifications and also concerning places and specification of work, the degree of demand of specialists-graduates from these institutions.

Among the exhibition participants are:

Educational institutions of primary and secondary professional formation, Petrozavodsk State University, Karelian State Pedagogical Academy

Branches of Russian institutions of higher professional education: North-West State Correspondence Technical University, Modern Humanitarian Academy, Russian Law Academy, Karelian Institute of Tourism, Saint-Petersburg Academy of Management and Economy, North-West Academy of Public Administration

Institutions of higher education from other regions: State University of Technology and Design (Saint-Petersburg), Northern Medical University (Arkhangelsk), State University of Cinema and Television (Saint-Petersburg), State University of Geodesy and Cartography (Moscow)

During the exhibition there will be a great educational programme which includes master classes, seminars and psychological express-testing of professional identity.

April 16: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

April 17: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
